Thiruni Tharuksha Wijesekara

W.E.M. Thiruni Tharuksha Wijesekara comes from Nittambuwa, and at 25 she's stepping onto the pageant stage with no prior competition experience but a clear creative direction already in motion. She's currently studying Fashion Designing at AMDT University, sharpening the eye for style and construction that she hopes to build a career around.

Fashion has given Thiruni a practical, hands-on way to think about self-expression, and she's carrying that same instinct into her advocacy. She's passionate about equal access to education, a cause she frames simply as one of the most direct ways to empower people, reduce inequality, and open up better opportunities for everyone regardless of their starting point.

As a first-time contestant coming to pageantry a little later than some of her fellow delegates, Thiruni brings a calm, steady perspective to the competition.
