Dasuni Weerakkodi

Weerakkodi Arachchige Dasuni Dilanka, known on stage as Dasuni Weerakkodi, represents Nugegoda in the Western Province. At 21, she's currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Studies, specializing in Fashion Design and Product Development, at the Open University of Sri Lanka.

Her academic focus sits at an interesting intersection: fashion design paired with product development gives her a practical, design-forward way of thinking that goes beyond aesthetics into how things are actually made and brought to market. It's early days in her studies, but it's already shaping how she sees her own path forward.

As she steps into pageantry, Dasuni brings the same design sensibility she's building in the classroom, an eye for structure and detail that she hopes to carry from her coursework onto the stage.
