Ayat Couture is a Kadawatha-based couture house specializing in bridal wear and occasion gowns, built entirely around custom, made-to-order pieces rather than rentals. The label has built a following of close to twenty thousand on Instagram around its designer sarees, crafted in fine royal chiffon and finished with intricate embroidery and delicate gold borders.
Every piece is made to match the individual client, blending traditional silhouettes with a more contemporary sensibility, and the house ships its work internationally to clients well beyond Sri Lanka.
Ayat Couture's commitment to building each piece around the person wearing it echoes exactly what Miss Grand Sri Lanka asks of its own platform: that no two delegates are the same, and that the goal was never to fit everyone into one mold.
