Sudharshani Sewing Academy is led by Sudharshani Paranavithana, a pattern-making and dressmaking educator who holds a Diploma in Pattern Making and Grading along with an NVQ Level 4 certification. Over more than fifteen years in sewing and fashion design, she has built a teaching practice that runs both in person and through the academy's own YouTube channel, reaching students well beyond Sri Lanka's borders.
The academy's focus stays close to the fundamentals: precise pattern drafting, grading across sizes, and the construction techniques that separate a well-made garment from a merely finished one. It's a discipline built one measurement at a time, and it shows in the consistency of the work coming out of the academy's students.
